As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and excellent location. The attached cafe was a definite highlight, and the skylight in our room provided good ventilation.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to everything I needed. The TV room was a nice space to relax in. The $2 lockers were a lifesaver for my trip to Stewart Island. And it's only a 30-minute walk to the airport.

Enjoyed the charming garden and cozy shared lounge at this lovely hostel. The onsite café, hit or miss. Sometimes I got brunch, sometimes I hit the snooze button and missed it.

Such a shame that the carpets were reminiscent of an old hospital. A real treat for the eyes.

The onsite café at this hostel is a hidden gem. I had the most amazing brunch at Tuatara Cafe+Bar. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy, like having breakfast in a charming garden. It was the perfect start to my day in Invercargill.
